The WOMB: World of My Baby
The WOMB is a place of origin, growth and love. It is a wholeness centre that nurtures and nourishes families to flourish by providing and inspiring commUNITY and CONNECTion. The WOMB provides whole health care, education, fitness and products on the journey through conscious creation, informed pregnancy, mindful birth, parenting and self growth.
It is a centre of excellence; where expert practitioners of health and research provide families with the best care possible and individuals come to receive tenderness, education and love.
Services offered include: Pelvic floor physiotherapy, Naturopathy, osteopathy, chiropractic care, breastfeeding support, birth & postnatal doula support, counselling & coaching, registered massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, fitness and yoga, workshops, classes & groups, gentle sleep consulting & holistic nutrition coaching.
Why Woodstock?
Our Experience
The three owners of the World of My Baby Woodstock learned throughout their own personal journeys that Oxford County is desperately underserviced in meeting the needs of young and developing families. Each of us made the drive of at least 45 minutes out of town to receive these services during our personal parenting journeys. As a Naturopathic Doctor, Pam has been referring young families out of our community to have their needs met for over 20 years now.
Community Growth
Oxford County is rapidly growing and we believe that providing The WOMB’s services is crucial to the health and wellness of our community and we are poised to meet the needs of the influx of young and growing families to our area. The WOMB is a unique gathering space that provides education, products, and a collaborative whole health team on the journey through conscious creation, informed pregnancy, mindful birth, parenting and self growth. It is our mission to offer the best care and support for women and families throughout their journey to parenthood and beyond.
Need for Education and Support
In the Western World, we put a tremendous amount of energy on birth as the moment a baby enters the world. All of our medical resources are gearing up for that one big day. The truth is that the journey to parenthood begins well before conception and lasts many years after the birth itself.
Imagine a world where we treat new mom's with the same loving compassion that we give to their newborns.
We are passionate about creating that world. Young families are not parenting in the way the generations before them did. They are a generation of inquisitive, passionate, and purposeful young people who are not jumping into parenthood simply because they are supposed to. They are seeking knowledge and wisdom and support for their needs both physically and mentally and understand the value of proper support and expert information. This has been a wonderful shift but it brings with it a demand for many more services than have previously been offered but are all brought together under one roof at the WOMB.
