Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Margot Dods, Reg. PT, MScPT, BScHK, Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Margot is a registered physiotherapist with a passion for supporting women's pelvic health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, and a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. She fell in love with pelvic health physiotherapy after witnessing the positive impact it had on clients’ lives, and went on to complete advanced pelvic health training, including courses focusing on urinary and fecal incontinence; pelvic pain, diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, Cesarean birth, and pre- and postnatal health.
In her practice, Margot aims to provide a space where clients feel comfortable discussing any and all concerns- no topic is off limits! She understands that experiencing pelvic health issues can be distressing, isolating, and scary, and that it takes courage to ask for help. Her goal is to provide clients with the support and tools they need to feel confident in their bodies. She is a lifelong learner and integrates the latest research evidence, along with clients' individual needs, into her treatment approach.
Since becoming a mom herself in 2020, Margot experienced first hand the joys and challenges that come with pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. This experience has inspired a deep respect for the work that mothers do each and every day, and has informed her special interest in pre- and postnatal health. She is excited to serve the Woodstock community and looks forward to supporting you on your journey.
