Chelsea Wright RN, IBCLC

Chelsea is very grateful to be a part of The Womb team! She is a pediatric (children’s) registered nurse at McMaster Children’s Hospital since 2014. After becoming a mother and overcoming breastfeeding difficulties with her first child, she continued education to become a certified lactation educator and breastfeeding specialist while on maternity leave. She realized through personal struggle and assisting families in hospital, that breastfeeding education and supporting families through their lactation experience was her passion. Chelsea passed her International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant exam shortly after. Chelsea can empathize and support parents whose breastfeeding journey does not come easy. Chelsea wishes to inspire families to make decisions for how they wish to feed their child and works with families to meet those goals. Chelsea looks forward to meeting you and your child at the Womb and forming a trusting relationship where families feel most comfortable seeking support and feeling validated and listened to.
